About NO2ID Scarborough

NO2ID is a national campaigning organisation. We are a single-issue group focused on the threat to liberty and privacy posed by the rapid growth of the database state, of which "ID cards" are the most visible part. We are entirely independent. We do not endorse any party, nor campaign on any other topic. NO2ID Scarborough is a local organisation associated with the NO2ID campaign.

Together we can build a wedge of opposition that will make the NIR database and ID cards unworkable, thus protecting the liberties we all now enjoy. Tell your friends about the campaign and that you are supporting it. Most people are scarcely aware of the Government's ID database project, and few appreciate the dangers of it.

Raise the issue for discussion in any organisations you belong to. Everyone is affected in some way. Encourage any club, union or other group you are in that opposes ID control to become a supporter or affiliate itself.

Post a comment on an ID-related story on the SCARBOROUGH EVENING NEWS website or another news website

Write to the local and national press, to express your concerns whenever there is relevant news. Phone-in to appropriate radio and TV programmes.
